We are delighted to announce that Magellan Capital has successfully completed the acquisition of Danmarks Skibskredit (Danish Ship Finance).
We are pleased to announce the successful issuance of our inaugural 5NC4 senior secured bonds due 2029 with a total size of USD 360 million. The proceeds from the bonds will be used as part of the financing package for the acquisition of Danmarks Skibskredit (Danish Ship Finance, “DSF”). The acquisition of DSF is expected to close imminently.
We are delighted to announce our acquisition of a majority stake in Danmarks Skibskredit (Danish Ship Finance) from private equity group Axcel and Danish pension funds PFA and PKA. The Danish Maritime Fund will maintain its 10% shareholding in Danish Ship Finance, while Axcel will retain a 5% stake for up to two years to ensure a smooth ownership transition.
